What the app stores, and where
On the phone, in the app's own settings storage (iOS UserDefaults), and mirrored to your own iCloud key-value storage (Apple's service, tied to your Apple Account). We cannot see either one.
| What | Why | Where in the code |
|---|---|---|
| Your best score in each game, lifetime points, rounds played | Personal bests and the points total on the home screen | OneMore/Core/ScoreStore.swift |
| Daily challenge scores (the last 60 days) and your longest daily streak | One try per day, streak achievements and streak unlocks | OneMore/Core/ScoreStore.swift |
| Points per week (the last 12 weeks) | Your score on this week's level board | OneMore/Core/League.swift |
| Achievements earned, versus wins and losses | Your rank, achievements and earned unlocks | OneMore/Core/Achievements.swift |
| Your chosen tile colors, background, win effect and title (this phone only) | To remember the Style tab | OneMore/Kit/Style.swift |
None of this includes your name, email, contacts, location or anything typed except the guesses in Five Letters, which are not saved.
Game Center (Apple)
- If you are signed in to Game Center, the app sends your scores to its leaderboards, reports achievements you earn, and runs online versus matches through Game Center turn-based matches.
- A versus match carries only what the game needs: the board seed, which game is played, and each player's score.
- Friends list: if you tap Show my friends when picking a rival, iOS asks whether One More may see your Game Center friends. The list is shown on your phone so you can pick one; it is not saved or sent anywhere. Say no and everything else still works.
- Other players see your Game Center nickname and scores according to your Game Center settings. Apple runs Game Center under Apple's Privacy Policy; we do not receive your Apple Account details.
- Not signed in? Every game, the daily challenge, ranks, unlocks and same-phone versus still work. Only the world leaderboards and online versus need Game Center.
What the app does NOT do
- No servers of ours. The only places data goes are your iCloud and, if you use it, Game Center — both Apple's.
- No third-party code. No advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or social SDKs.
- One optional permission: your Game Center friends list, only when you ask to see it. The app never asks for the camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts or notifications.
- No purchases today. Everything in the app is free and every unlock is earned by playing. If paid options are ever added, this policy will say so first.
- Five Letters checks whether a guess is a real word with Apple's built-in spell checker, on the phone.
Children
One More is a general-audience game. We collect no personal information from anyone, including children. Game Center has its own age rules and parental controls, set in iOS Screen Time.
Your choices
- Leave Game Center out: sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings, or never sign in. The app keeps working.
- Stop iCloud sync: iOS Settings › your name › iCloud lets you turn off iCloud for apps.
- Forget everything on this phone: delete the app. The iCloud copy can be removed in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.
- Game Center data: manage or remove it in iOS Settings › Game Center, under Apple's terms.
Changes
If a future version ever sends anything else off the device, or adds purchases, this policy will change first and the release notes will say so.
