1. Who operates Team Assist
Team Assist is operated by Thomas M Brown. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Team Assist Android application and related services.

2. Information Team Assist may process
- Account and contact information: name, email address, optional phone information, authentication information, verification state, and session information.
- Athlete profile information: athlete name, birth date, profile details, and information you choose to add to an athlete profile.
- Connections and service activity: coach or trainer connections, invitations, connection status, profile changes, and account-management actions.
- Technical and security information: timestamps, request identifiers, delivery status, error events, and limited information needed to protect and operate the service.
- Support communications: information you provide when requesting help, privacy assistance, or account deletion.
3. How information is used
Team Assist uses information to create and secure accounts, verify users, provide athlete profiles, enable user-directed coach and trainer connections, synchronize authorized information, deliver service messages, answer support requests, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, and meet legal obligations.
4. When information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed:
- to coaches, trainers, parents, guardians, or athletes when an authorized user intentionally creates or accepts a connection;
- to service providers that help operate hosting, email delivery, backup, security, and support functions, only as needed to provide those services;
- when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, Team Assist, or others; or
- as part of a business transfer, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.
Team Assist does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.
5. Retention and deletion
Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to provide Team Assist, maintain security and integrity, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When a verified deletion request is completed, account information and associated user data are removed from active systems unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or another disclosed legitimate purpose. Temporary backup copies may remain until they expire under scheduled backup retention and are not used for ordinary service activity.

6. Security
Team Assist uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account or information may be at risk.
7. Age limitation
Team Assist is intended for users age 13 or older. Children under 13 are not an intended audience and may not create or use an account. If you believe information from a child under 13 has been submitted, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed.
8. Your choices
You may request access, correction, support, or deletion by contacting us. Account deletion can be initiated from the account-deletion page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request so that another person cannot alter or delete your information without authorization.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Team Assist changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material updates are published. Where appropriate, additional notice will be provided in the app or through another reasonable channel.
